Rebellion set to a Syncopated Heartbeat! 
The Newsies score is a burst of ink and adrenaline splashed across the New York city skyline.  Come and enjoy blending turn-of-the-century New York grit with Broadway polish to create a sound that marches, swings, and soars all at once.

Musicians play under the direction of conductor Jed da Roza; Music Director of 70+ productions.  Jed is passionate about developing young talent and creating a beautiful, cohesive music experience for artists and audiences alike.

Present two contrasting selections of approx. 1-2 minutes each.  Showcase your technical and expressive abilities in any music style. 
We're excited about student musicians who are ready to learn, to join a new community, and will:

• Practice as needed to be prepared for rehearsals. Perfection is not expected, but we expect musicians to come to rehearsals ready to add their part to the whole
• Attend rehearsals 
• Get comfortable reading music that sometimes quickly moves between uncommon key signatures (including multiple sharps and flats), uncommon time signatures, and abrupt tempo changes
• Expand their technical proficiency throughout a wide range

  Actors and Musicians all pay a production fee. The musician fee ($300) covers:

• Instruction/training
• Instrument music materials
• Show Shirt
• Orchestra  & Production photos link
• Strike party & dinner for the musician
