Description

In this class we will be covering the basics of musical theater. We will dive into projection, emitting emotions, and so much more. This is a beginners acting class meant for students either brand new to theater, and/or those who have been in less than 3 shows.

*Class students who are cast in Narnia or Little Women are expected to attend their CYT class weekly.  More than one class absence may affect the student's casting/participation in the show; a scene, a dance, a role, or the show.

Clara Olfert

Clara is an alumni of CYT! She was in CYT for four years and is thrilled to be teaching classes. During her time in CYT she went through TIP (Theatre Internship Program) and learned all about the ins and outs of stage management. One of her favorite rolls was being Jim Hollis in "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer". When she is not at CYT she loves listening to music and reading, She looks forward to meeting your kids!
