Description

Join us for a journey through comedy styles! We will have fun with comedic timing, improv and scene work, as well as learn about the different types of comedy and how we can use them as actors. Using groups and partners, we will discover what's funny and why, in a safe and encouraging environment. Whether you feel comfortable with comedy or would like to stretch your understanding, this class is for you!

April has been teaching kids since college, inside the classroom as well as in after school theater settings. She loves watching kids discover a love for theater through teamwork and play. She is very excited to be teaching for this wonderful CYT community!
