John hails from the great state of Wisconsin, where he received a Bachelor of Music from Lawrence University. After college, he moved to New York City, where he studied improv at Improvolution with the highly acclaimed Holly Mandel, a former member of the Groundlings house team. Outside of CYT, John spends his days working as a product development project manager in the Medical Device industry. John is married to his lovely and effervescent wife Heather, raising three kids, two dogs, and a cat.

I'm excited to be joining CYT this Fall! I'm a mama of 3 and homeschool my youngest who has caught the theater bug. I spent 14 years living in NYC where I graduated from The American Musical and Dramatic Acadamy, got married and had two of my babies. I moved back to my home state 8 years ago and keep myself busy being a full-time chauffeur to my kids. I'm looking forward to meeting all of you!
