Description

In this class, we will cover the basics of theater. We will cover stage directions, projection, improv, and so much more! This class is designed for students who are brand new to theater and/or have been in 1-2 shows. 


*Class students who are cast in Wizard of Oz are expected to attend their CYT class weekly.  More than one class absence may affect the student's casting/participation in the show; a scene, a dance, a role, or the show.

CLARA OLFERT

Clara is an alumni of CYT! She was in CYT for four years and is thrilled to be teaching classes. During her time in CYT she went through TIP (Theatre Internship Program) and learned all about the ins and outs of stage management. One of her favorite rolls was being Jim Hollis in "The Adventures of Tom Sawyer". When she is not at CYT she loves listening to music and reading, She looks forward to meeting your kids!
