Description

Welcome to this beginner/intermediate acting class! If you've never been in a show or have just one or two productions under your belt, this course is designed for you. Step into 1940s Oxford and explores the lives and creative dynamics of the Inklings, the writers’ group that included C.S. Lewis and J.R.R. Tolkien. Actors will explore the creativity, humor, and debates that inspired The Chronicles of Narnia and The Lord of the Rings.

CLARA OLFERT

I have been apart of CYT since 2018, with my first show being Into the Woods jr. and my last being Shrek. During my time in CYT I went through the Stage Managment internship and learned all about the ins and outs of stage management. I have now been on 5+ Stage Managment teams at CYT and loving every minute of it. When I am not stage managing or teaching, you can easily find me listening to music, at the library, or spending time with family and friends. Proverbs 19:21
