“I have come to believe that a great teacher is a great artist and that there are as few as there are any other great artists. It might even be the greatest of the arts since the medium is the human mind and spirit.”

John Steinbeck

Choreographer

At CYT Tri-Valley we are seeking the inspired and the excellent. If you love what you do, and have a passion for Musical Theater, we want to meet you.

Director

Casting a great vision is the first job of a CYT Show Director. Suported by the Artistic Director and responsible for the clear delegation of design and process, the Director must set up the Production team for success. The Director's vision shapes everything, from the look and feel of a production, to the way the parents and cast feel at the end of the run.

Musical Director

The entire sense of sound is the responsibility of our Music Director, who is to supervises all musical aspects of the production. Sensitivity includes some or all of these responsibilities; conducting the band/orchestra, coaching vocalists and choirs, deciding on song arrangements, finding sound effects, creating ambience with music, creating and distributing practice tracks. Our Music Director creates an overall sense of immersion with music and sound.
