General Auditions & Callbacks Info

How to Audition for a CYT Tri-Valley production
  1. Register for a current CYT Tri-Valley Class:   We produce shows so our students can practice what they learn in class! Class options, schedule, and registration will be available in late July 2026. Popular classes fill up quickly! If you enroll in a class, you are eligible to sign up for an audition time slot at the same time. Check our Classes page for updates!
  2. Complete Audition Questionnaire: Posted on website 1-2 weeks before auditions.
  3. Learn Audition Choreography: Video link posted 1 week before auditions. 
  4. Audition!
AUDITIONS:  Fall: August 12-15, 2026
  • PERFORM: 
    • A monologue no longer than 30 seconds
    • A song no longer than 1 minute, with an instrumental background track
    • The choreography combo (Provided 1-2 weeks before auditions) 
    • DON'T perform material from our current shows
CALLBACKS:  Aug 16th
Saturday following audition, by invitation of the Artistic Team
CASTING:  Posted on or before the Monday following callbacks
PRODUCTION FEES --   $350 for CYT LITE!, $395 for CYT Mainstage,  $475 for NextStage, $325 for Orchestra
 
 

School Days

Bring your students to see their favorite characters come to life on stage!  CYT LITE! brings beloved literary characters to the Bankhead stage in quality productions by performers ages 8-18.
